Who we are

Hypnotherapy Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”) operates hypnotherapyforweightloss.in and provides hypnotherapy services led by Vibha Jain. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing those services.

You can reach us at hypnotherapy28@gmail.com or +91-9326115588.

What information we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiry details submitted through the contact form: your name, phone number, optional email address, preferred contact method, the topic you selected, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Correspondence you send us by email, telephone or WhatsApp.
  • Session information if you become a client: relevant history, notes recorded during sessions, and appointment records.

Information collected automatically

This website is a static site and does not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or third-party marketing scripts. As with any website, the hosting provider’s servers may record standard technical log data — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security and operational purposes.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when you view a page. That request is subject to Google’s own privacy practices.

We do not set marketing or analytics cookies, do not build advertising profiles, and do not sell personal information under any circumstances.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To respond to your enquiry. Basis: your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the contact form.
  • To arrange and deliver sessions. Basis: performance of our agreement with you.
  • To keep accurate professional records. Basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining a responsible practice, and any applicable legal or professional obligation.
  • To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations. Basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing communications unless you have specifically asked to receive them.

Health and sensitive information

Information about health, weight, eating behaviour and emotional wellbeing is sensitive, and is treated accordingly.

Where you provide such information in the course of sessions, it is processed on the basis of your explicit consent and for the sole purpose of providing the service you have asked for. Session notes are kept secure, are not shared with third parties without your written permission, and are never used for marketing, testimonials or case studies of any kind.

Please do not send detailed medical information through the website contact form. A web form is not a secure channel for clinical detail; those conversations belong in a session or a direct call.

Confidentiality and its limits

What is discussed in a session is confidential. It is not shared, quoted or published in any form, anonymised or otherwise.

The narrow exceptions are those that apply to any responsible practice: where there is a serious risk of harm to you or to another person, where a court or law requires disclosure, or where you have given explicit written consent for information to be shared with a named person such as your doctor. Wherever it is possible and safe to do so, we will discuss any such disclosure with you first.

Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Limited sharing may occur with service providers acting on our behalf, for example the company hosting this website, the email provider handling our correspondence, or an accountant handling statutory records. These providers process information only as necessary to deliver their service to us.

Where a contact form endpoint is configured, enquiry data is transmitted to that provider in order to reach our inbox. The provider in use is recorded in the site configuration and can be disclosed on request.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client records and session notes: retained for the period required by applicable professional, insurance and legal obligations. [EXACT RETENTION PERIOD TO BE CONFIRMED WITH THE PRACTICE'S INSURER AND PROFESSIONAL BODY]
  • Financial records: retained for the period required by Indian tax law.

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, it is securely deleted or destroyed.

How we protect it

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including restricting access to those who need it, securing devices and accounts, and keeping physical records where applicable in locked storage.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will inform you and any relevant authority as required.

Your rights

You may, at any time:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
  • Object to particular uses of your information.
  • Ask for your information in a portable, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these, email hypnotherapy28@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge for a first request.

If you believe we have handled your information improperly, you are entitled to complain to the relevant data-protection authority in your jurisdiction. We would appreciate the opportunity to address the concern first.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Where sessions involve a person under 18, they are arranged with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Links to other websites

This site links to external resources, including public-health organisations and research databases, purely for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
